Removing Skin Care From Cosmetology License

It is NCEA’s position that skin care should be removed from the cosmetology scope of practice and license. Due to the scientific and technological advancements in the skin care industry today, the Licensed Esthetician with a minimum 600 Hours of training should be performing skin care services.
